Local Social Enterprise Pink Elephant Cards unveiled their new brand and website recently in a lavish event held in the beautiful surroundings of The Merchant Hotel, Belfast.

The business which is operated by Stepping Stones NI offers training towards employment to people with learning disabilities in its workshop at Seymour Street Lisburn. It also offers its customers a completely bespoke service with each card being hand crafted by the people in the workshop supported by their trained staff team.

Speaking at the launch Stepping Stones NI Chief Officer Paula Jennings commented:

“We are all so proud of Pink Elephant Cards, it really offers something very special to its customers and indeed those that are training in the workshop. Brides and grooms using them as their stationer are not only getting a completely personalised and hand crafted product, they are safe in the knowledge that the making of their stationery has helped someone with a learning disability develop their skills and ultimately improve their life. We are hopeful that this new website will increase awareness of our products and our mission and ultimately help us help more people.

The special guest speaker at the event was trainee Mark Murphy who trains in the workshop one day per week, addressing the audience he said:

“I would like to thank all of the brides and grooms who get us to make their stationery, it helps us learn new things and work together as a team. “
