OLLIE GOES FOR GOLD WITH TEAM IRELAND!
It’s been a great year so far for Oliver Magee. Since joining Stepping Stones Transition Service Oliver has successfully completed several training courses and work placements but on top of these successes he has also become an award winning athlete.
At the 13th Special Olympics World Games in Athens Oliver, a Parkview student and a member of the Lisburn together Special Olympics Club stormed through to take the Gold Medal in the Bocce singles competition. He was cheered on by proud parents Oliver and Eileen along with other family members who wore ‘Go Ollie’ tee shirts. Oliver also came 4th in the Bocce team competition and 5th in the Bocce Doubles.
Well done Oliver from everyone at Stepping Stones.
