Project Workforce is the second wave of the successful collaboration between NOW based in North and West Belfast and Stepping Stones NI in Lisburn. The collaboration on the ESF project is unique in its delivery of quality transition, training and employment services for people with learning disabilities, learning difficulties and adults on the Autistic Spectrum.
This week Stepping Stones and NOW were proud to launch new branding and service information literature for Project Workforce to inform people with learning disabilities, and learning difficulties about its services, which are delivered with support from European Social Fund, Department of Employment and Learning, and the Health and Social Care Trusts.
Paula Jennings Chief Officer of Stepping Stones comments: “Project Workforce is a fantastic service which provides the highest standard of support to enable our young people to progress in training and advancement of their skills towards achieving their dream of employment, which is reflected in our new literature. Staff work hard to give each client to the service the support that makes a huge difference not only to their lives, but of their families and to employers and co-workers. That makes us proud!”
