Stepping Stones NI Chief Officer Awarded Business Person of the Year at the Lisburn & Castlereagh City Business Awards 2016
Our Chief Officer has been awarded ‘Business Person of the Year’ at the Lisburn & Castlereagh City Business Awards 2016!
Paula Jennings has served the organisation for over eighteen years and developed it from strength to strength with six social enterprises operating in Lisburn, Downpatrick and Newtownards. Paula was recognised for her leadership, vision and strategic outlook towards developing and growing a sustainable business.
Stepping Stones NI also secured the award for ‘Best Social Enterprise’ at a gala event in the La Mon Hotel & Country Club attended First Minister, Arlene Foster and three hundred and sixty business people.
Stepping Stones NI now employs over sixty staff and has one hundred and seventy clients accessing their services with the expansion. The new social enterprises are supported through the European Social Fund and the South Eastern Health & Social Care Trust.

Last year the organisation’s training and employment division supported one hundred and thirty people into employment with ninety thousand pounds in earned wages.
