Stepping Stones NI are delighted to announce the launch of four new academies which will support people who experience barriers to learning and employment to get into work.
The academies will provide accredited and non accredited training in small group learning environments starting August 2019. Training has been designed to match employers requirements across four areas:
- Administration
- Hospitality
- Domestic Services
- Retail
Training will take place over the course of two weeks at Stepping Stones NI’s new training facility on Antrim Street in Lisburn. All academy training is free to participants who are also guaranteed a job interview with an employer after completion.
Stepping Stones NI’s Head of Services, Jenna Pike comments “We are delighted to announce registration for our new academies. They have been designed specifically for people who struggle to find work or stay in work because they experience a barrier to learning or employment. We have 21 years of expertise under our belt in supporting people with Autism, ADHD, Dyslexia and learning difficulties and we know the challenges that they face in finding employment. We have worked with employers to make our academies come to fruition and we are extremely excited to provide these opportunities for people who need support”.
